Meet Mila! Mila is a delightful 3-year-old, approximately 40lb, spayed female Pitbull/Staffie mix with a heart full of love and a spirit of adventure. She's currently enjoying life in a foster home in San Antonio, TX, eagerly awaiting her forever family. Mila is a social butterfly who loves to play with dogs of all sizes, especially larger pups who can match her energy. While she's friendly with other dogs, she can get a bit jumpy during playtime, so a patient canine companion would be a great fit.
Ideal Home
Mila would thrive in a home with a moderately to very active family who enjoys the outdoors. She'd love a running partner or a companion for adventures! An ideal home would have no or older, dog-savvy children (10+ years), and at least one other dog to play with. Given her tendency to be trustworthy when unsupervised as long as food and trash are secured, a home where someone is present more often would be beneficial.
Ongoing Health
Mila is generally healthy and spayed. As with all adopted pets, she will need continued veterinary care.
Training & Support
Mila is a smart cookie who is eager to learn! She quickly picks up new lessons and enjoys exploring. She hasn't been crate trained as she has free roam of the house with a doggy door. She's proven to be trustworthy when left alone, provided tempting items like food and trash are out of reach. Mila is still young and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training, especially to help curb her playful jumping with other dogs. Patience and reassurance will go a long way in helping her adjust and blossom into the best girl.
