Surfer has blossomed into a confident, curious puppy who loves walks, exploring, training, and playing with his dog friends. Surfer is highly observant, a great listener, and learns quickly with positive reinforcement. He's already mastered an impressive list of puppy skills, including sitting before meals and before leaving his pen, going into his pen on cue for a treat, and sleeping quietly through the night in his crate/pen. He plays and relaxes independently during the day, walks well on a leash, and is comfortable wearing a harness. Surfer is potty trained with excellent habits, asking to go outside when roaming and using a potty pad if he can't get attention. He has had no accidents in the house! He responds well to gentle correction and is learning "leave it," "drop it," "down," "place," and recall. Since his littermate was adopted, Surfer has adjusted beautifully and continues to thrive on his own.
