Celia

Meet Celia, a sweet shepherd mix with adorable short legs and a heart full of love! She's estimated to be around 2-3 years old. Celia has limited vision in her left eye, but it doesn't stop her from being a gentle and loving companion. She's handling it like a champ and is being evaluated by our veterinarians. Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for her, and she can be shy initially, but with patience and kindness, her confidence is blossoming. She absolutely thrives with other dogs and would do best in a home with a friendly, confident canine companion to help her navigate her new world. Celia also does well with children, especially those who understand she needs a little time to feel safe. She's the type of dog who will form a deep bond with her people, becoming a quiet shadow and a comforting presence.

Celia would thrive in a calm home with patient and kind humans. She would benefit greatly from having a friendly and confident dog already in the home to show her the ropes. She also does well with children, particularly those who can give her a little space as she builds her confidence.

Celia has limited vision in her left eye. She is currently undergoing veterinary evaluations for this.
