Bruno VII is a handsome 7-year-old flashy brindle boy who is searching for his forever home with his bonded companion, Sophie V. They are very attached and go where the other goes, so it's important they be adopted together. Prior to coming to the rescue, Bruno and Sophie lived with their owner in his car after losing their home and their dad's health was failing. They have since settled into a foster home and are thriving! Bruno has the cutest and busiest wiggle butt and will intently and excitedly watch you when you speak to him. He gets excited and is learning not to jump, is learning how to play with toys and will play with a rope toy occasionally. He does well with baths, loves food and treats, enjoys car rides, and enjoys playing with Sophie until she is worn out! Bruno has only been around Sophie, so it is uncertain if he is dog-friendly beyond their bond. They have never lived with a cat, but Bruno is said to be kid-friendly. He has attended some adoption events and is very nervous on the leash around many people he doesn't know. He doesn't like people (kids or adults) getting in his face and needs slow approaches so he knows he is safe. Because of his nervousness, it would be best if he is in a home with older kids or no kids. He is house-trained but hates going out in the rain and prefers a human to go with him. He will go in his crate for a piece of cheese and is quiet, but he prefers not to be in it. Although he is active for his age, he is a well-behaved boy and does not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. He is fearful of storms and will go sit by the humans and tremble.
Ideal Home
A home with older kids or no kids. He needs slow introductions and for people not to get in his face. He prefers a human to accompany him when going outside, especially in the rain.

Training & Support
Bruno is learning not to jump, is learning how to play with toys, and is house-trained. He is not a fan of his crate but will use it.
