Ghost

Ghost is a handsome young Akita with a heart full of love to give! He came to us as an owner surrender, a situation we often see. Despite his past, Ghost is a smart, playful, and affectionate boy who enjoys leaning on his favorite people and playing with his toys. He walks well on a leash and loves to explore the world with his nose.

Ideal Home

Ghost would do best in a home where he can be the only pet, as he has a significant prey drive and would not be a good fit for homes with cats or small dogs. He also needs a home with children over 8 years old and requires applicants to have Akita experience.

Ongoing Health

Ghost is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and on prevention.

Training & Support

Ghost knows basic commands like sit, shake, down, leave it, and stay. As a young Akita, he's full of himself and can be a handful, but his intelligence and eagerness to please will make him a rewarding companion with the right guidance.
