Gumbo

My name is Gumbo! I'm a sweet, curious, snuggly, and smart pup who is about 1 year old and weighs 40 lbs. I'm still getting to know the wonderful staff and volunteers here, but I'm eager to find my forever home! If you think I might be your new best friend, I'd love to meet you!

Ideal Home

I'm ready for a home where I can continue to learn and grow. If you have other dogs or children, they'll need to join you for a meet-and-greet to ensure we're a good match.

Ongoing Health

I've received my DAPPL, Rabies, and Bordatella vaccines, and I'm microchipped and licensed. You'll need to take me to your veterinarian within two weeks of adoption for a check-up, and I may need follow-up boosters.

Training & Support

Since I'm new here, I don't have a lot of background information. Many of us are strays, so we might not be house-trained or know what it's like to live with kids, cats, or other dogs. We're all assessed by staff and volunteers, but we can't make guarantees about our behavior or health once we're in your home.

• We require scheduled meet-and-greets, as we are not currently accepting walk-ins.
• Please check our website to see if I'm a good fit for your home before scheduling a meet.
• If I'm already spayed/neutered, I can go home with you the same day. Otherwise, I'll go home after my surgery.
