Don't let the pictures fool you: Foxy Roxy is much smaller than she looks! At just 25 pounds, this petite sweetheart has earned her nickname because she's as tiny and adorable as a little fox. At under a year old, she has reached her full height and will only fill out a bit as she matures. If you're looking for a dog who is equal parts playmate and cuddle buddy, Foxy Roxy checks every box. She has the playful spirit of a young dog but an incredibly calm, gentle nature that's rare for her age. Whether she's chasing a toy, joining you on a hike, or curling up beside you after a long day, she's simply happiest being with her people. Her foster can't say enough wonderful things about her, stating, "We had a big party, and she did great with everyone. She doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body. I would be completely comfortable with her around children of any age." Foxy Roxy truly loves everyone she meets—adults, children, and other dogs alike. She walks beautifully on a leash, rides quietly in the car, is crate trained, knows "Sit," and is such an easy companion. She's the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into family life, whether that's a busy home full of kids or an active individual looking for a loyal adventure buddy. It's hard to believe this gentle girl began her journey in an overcrowded Atlanta shelter housing more than 500 dogs. Since arriving in foster care, she has shown nothing but resilience, sweetness, and unconditional love. Now she's simply waiting for the family who will love her forever.
