Patty

Hi there! I'm Patty, a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy looking for my forever home. My foster mom loves my heart-shaped nose and my little tail – even though part of it is missing, my personality is definitely not! I hail from Texas, so I'm not a fan of the cold and absolutely adore snuggling up in a warm blanket. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and I'm doing a great job with potty training, especially with frequent potty breaks. I'm eager to learn and would love someone to teach me how to be polite and master this leash-walking thing. Treats are my motivator, and I really want to do the right thing, so a patient teacher would be wonderful! As a puppy, I love to play with toys, especially bones and chewables. My foster mom throws balls, but I prefer to have her retrieve them! She's working on teaching me not to jump, and I'm learning, but I do get excited to greet people. I've met people of all ages, including little ones, and I love everyone! I'm also getting to know a cat; I'm a little shy around him now, but I think we'll be great friends. I've met some bigger dogs, and I learn a lot from them. I enjoy running and playing chase in the yard with them, though I'm not as keen on chasing balls myself. If you can see past my initial shyness and recognize the amazing pup I am, I promise to give you kisses, love, and endless laughs!
