Panda is a shy but sweet guy who loves to hang out with his bone. He's estimated to be two years old and weighs around 50 pounds, likely a Pittie mix. Panda is named for his black and white coat and his mellow personality. He enjoys toys, chew bones, and daily walks, and thrives on routine. Panda is a social butterfly with other dogs, especially females, and gains confidence from canine companionship. He previously lived well with children aged five and up, and would do best in a home where children are respectful and gentle. Panda is still learning to trust humans but is motivated by patience, Nyla bones, and walks. He's a pro on leash and an excellent car passenger. At night, he loves to snuggle and is happy to share the couch or bed, but he is also kennel trained and house-trained.
Ideal Home
Panda would thrive in a quiet suburban or rural home. He absolutely needs to be in a home with at least one other dog, as he draws a lot of confidence from them. He is not recommended for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Panda is a rescue and will need time to decompress. He is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm preventatives, and has been spayed.
Training & Support
Panda is house-trained and kennel-trained. He is great on leash and enjoys walks. He will need a patient adopter to allow him a full decompression period.
