Papi Chulo De La Calle is a handsome 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a quiet confidence that will steal your heart. He's an easygoing gentleman who brings a sense of calm and good company wherever he goes. His foster family raves about his excellent dog social skills, his lovely house manners, and his generally easygoing nature, making him a truly wonderful companion. Papi is not one to demand the spotlight; he's more interested in calmly observing and sniffing his surroundings, making him a joy to live with. He's already crate-trained, trustworthy in the home, and a breeze in the car, loading and unloading with ease. He also walks beautifully on leash with gentle guidance. When meeting new people, Papi likes to take a moment to assess the situation with a few sniffs before warmheartedly accepting new friends. He has an impressive ability to handle new situations without becoming overwhelmed.
Ideal Home
Papi would love a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy some outdoor time. He can happily join a home with other respectful dogs, or he would also be content being the one and only canine companion, soaking up all the attention. Due to his past interactions, Papi would do best in a home without cats.
