About Honey - Foster to Adopt

Honey is a sweet, 7-year-old F1B Goldendoodle who came to us from a puppy mill. She's been with us for over five years, and while she's a beloved sanctuary dog, we'd be thrilled to find her a perfect forever home. Honey forms deep bonds, especially with women, and truly shines in a calm, predictable environment where she can be the sole focus. She's incredibly loyal and affectionate once she trusts you, but can be a bit reserved with strangers. To ensure a smooth transition, she'll come to her new home for a 30-day trial.

Ideal Home

Honey thrives in a quiet home where she can be the only pet. She needs a secure, fenced yard and someone who is home during the day. She is not suited for homes with children due to the possibility of nipping when startled or protective.

Ongoing Health

Honey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She sees the groomer every two months.

Training & Support

Honey is a trustworthy dog who is comfortable loose in the house and does not chew or get into things. She can be fearful at first and needs time to warm up. She is fearful of leash walks. A sitter must come to the home for vacations.
