Laika

Laika is a sweet and calm senior girl with a heart of gold, waiting patiently for a family to help her truly blossom. She's currently on medication to help her relax as she recovers from a leg injury. While she's healing, her leash skills are still developing, but with consistent training and a gentle approach, she's expected to make wonderful progress. Every now and then, Laika surprises us with bursts of playful zoomies, a joyful reminder of the fun-loving pup underneath. Her foster believes that with stability, patience, and a loving home, her anxiety will greatly improve, allowing her true companion potential to shine.

Ideal Home

A patient and understanding family who can provide a safe and comforting environment. Laika does not do well in a crate and will thrive in a home where she can be outside of one.

Ongoing Health

Laika is recovering from a leg injury and is currently on medication.

Training & Support

Laika has crate anxiety and will need a home that can accommodate her needs outside of a crate. She is still working on her leash skills due to her injury.
