Jaws

Meet Jaws! This handsome fellow is about 2-3 years old and weighing in at 42lbs. Jaws' previous owner sadly passed away, and he's now looking for a loving new home. He's a bit more timid than his brother and is described as short and stocky. His mom was a Feist, but his dad's breed is a mystery. Jaws has been living as an outdoor dog, so he's still learning the ropes of house training. He's also got a bit of a wanderlust, so he'll need a securely fenced yard or regular leash walks to keep him safe. He gets along well with the foster's other dogs, but he hasn't had much experience with smaller dogs.

Ideal Home

Jaws would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard or with owners committed to leash walking him during outdoor time. He has not been around smaller dogs, so introductions would need to be slow and supervised.

Ongoing Health

Jaws was neutered on February 12, 2024, and his heartworm test came back negative. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped.

Training & Support

As Jaws is not yet potty trained and has a tendency to run off, he will need a patient owner dedicated to consistent training and supervision.
