Hi there! My name is Ethel. I'm an adult female hound mix who came to Angels of Assisi with over forty dogs from a hoarding situation. My past experiences have made it difficult for me to trust humans, but I've made great progress thanks to the dedicated staff and volunteers here. I'm still a bit skittish and hesitant about being touched, but I do enjoy going for walks, especially with my favorite canine friends!

Ideal Home

I would do best in a calm home environment without children or cats. Because of my past, I require multiple meet-and-greets to ensure a perfect match and give me time to warm up to you.

I am spayed and vaccinated.

I am still learning to trust, and patience will be key. With time and understanding, I promise to show you all the love I have to offer.
