Meet Murphy!

This handsome tan and white, 65-pound Boxer/American Pitbull Terrier mix is six and a half years young and bursting with curiosity and affection. Murphy greets every day with a zest for life, especially if it involves long walks, ample space to run, and the promise of his favorite cheese treats! He loves to be close to his people and is always up for an adventure, whether it's chasing a ball, enjoying a good chew bone, or hopping in the car for a ride. While Murphy can be a little cautious with new things, a patient and gentle approach helps him gain confidence.

Ideal Home

Murphy would thrive in an active and structured home with an experienced guardian who understands energetic, large breeds. A securely fenced yard or plenty of room to roam would be ideal for this curious pup. He enjoys a consistent routine and appreciates a present and engaged pet parent who can offer guidance, playtime, and lots of shared moments.

Ongoing Health

Murphy is house-trained, comes when called, and knows commands like sit, stay, and come. He is friendly with other dogs and has done well with a younger pup. He enjoys twice-daily meals and restful nights in his crate.

Murphy is eager to learn and benefits from positive reinforcement. He may occasionally enjoy a bit of digging, adding to his joyful enthusiasm for life's simple pleasures.
