Gemma (SAD STORY alert)

Gemma is an 8-month-old Podengo mix who is ready to leave her past behind and find a loving home. She has had a difficult start in life, spending her time in a small hutch which has affected her paws and legs. Despite this, she gets around well and is expected to reach around 35 lbs. Gemma was not socialized much and is quite timid, but she has no fear aggression, only understandable apprehension. She gets along well with cats and dogs, and would do best with respectful children. Gemma hasn't wagged her tail yet, but with patience and kindness, her happy go-lucky puppy spirit is sure to emerge!

Ideal Home

Gemma is looking for a patient and understanding foster or adoptive home. She would do well with respectful children, cats, and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Gemma has splayed paws and legs due to her previous living conditions.

Training & Support

Gemma will need work on leash walking, house training, and general socialization. We will provide all the necessary supplies, training, and support to help her succeed.
