Meeka - Resilient Ball Player!

Meeka is a gorgeous, petite German Shepherd girl who weighs about 53lbs. She has incredible soft fur and beautiful brown eyes. At 5-6 years old, she still has so much companionship to offer!

Meeka came to us as an owner surrender when her family no longer had time for her. She's experienced some life changes, and when anxious, she'll turn in circles and bark. This is easily and quickly resolved by throwing a ball for her or giving her a stuffed animal. Most of the time, she is exceptionally calm with low to medium energy, except when playing FETCH... her very favorite thing to do! She recently had a blast playing soccer with some local high school volunteers. Meeka is sweet and friendly with everyone, extremely loyal, and loves to cuddle on the couch. She is exceptionally gentle, even taking treats and food softly from your fingers. She's also wonderful and non-reactive with all other dogs; nothing fazes her! Meeka walks well on a leash and does great on car rides. We haven't cat-tested her, but she doesn't seem to have a strong prey drive, so she may do fine with them with a bit of coaching. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Meeka is house-trained and does not need a crate. She enjoys being pampered and groomed.
