Spike

Spike is a sweet sweet boy! His owner is senior and could no longer care for him. He is 7 years old and weighs 7 lbs. He is now neutered, up to date on shots, hw negative, microchipped and just had a dental. He was attacked by a larger dog 3 years ago and lost vision in that eye.

He is good with other dogs. He is a velcro dog who wants to be with you and will follow you around. He is a barker (not excessive), so no apts. His only downfall I can see is that he is not protective of me after having him a couple of weeks. He will bark at any 'intruder' in the home and I had to put him up when a handyman came- not sure if he would bite or not. He is ok with people that he is used to like my friend that comes over.

He wears a belly band but will likely be much better about marking since he was just neutered.

He isn't playful but is ok with other dogs and loves attention from his person. He would be a great companion for someone who is home a lot.

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
