Shades

Shades is a sweet 9-year-old, 80 lb lady with a heart of gold. She and her siblings were surrendered when their owner had to move and couldn't take them. Shades has been a little down since being abandoned, but she's starting to feel more comfortable in her foster home. She doesn't need constant attention but really enjoys gentle affection. She's also a fantastic housemate, getting along wonderfully with her foster dog and cat siblings. Shades is a calm, mellow girl who is ready to share her gentle love with a new family.

Shades would do well in a home that can provide her with gentle affection and a calm environment. She is good with kids, cats, and dogs.

Ongoing Health

Shades is currently on medication for Cushing's disease.

Shades is house-trained and appears to coexist peacefully with other animals.
