Penelope

Meet Penelope, a sweet and sensitive 7-year-old black Lab mix nicknamed Poppy! She's a medium-sized girl, around 50 lbs, with a perfect medium-low energy level. Poppy loves a good walk or some playtime in the yard, followed by a cozy nap in her bed while you relax. She's a well-behaved house guest, fully potty trained and crate trained. While she's comfortable in her crate, she's also happy to have free roam of the house when you're away, whether alone or with other doggy friends, and will greet you at the door with a big smile and a wagging tail.

Poppy is a true social butterfly who thrives on companionship. She's kid and dog-friendly, and would be delighted to have a canine sibling—whether a dog with a similar energy level or one who can teach her cues and boundaries. However, she'd also be perfectly content being your one and only! This incredibly sweet and snuggly girl is searching for a home where she'll receive all the love, attention, and comfort she truly deserves.

Ideal Home

Poppy would love a home where she can be part of the action and receive plenty of love and attention. She would enjoy having a canine companion, but is also happy to be your sole furry friend.
