Meet Maxx! This handsome and energetic one-year-old is a unique blend of Alaskan Malamute intelligence and an independent spirit, all wrapped up in a less-fluffy package. Weighing around 75 pounds, Maxx is a loyal and playful companion who loves his plush toys and squeakers. He's a dog with character, enjoying a good game of basketball and even a peek at his reflection. Maxx is an independent soul who appreciates his own space but is always ready to lend a helping paw, whether it's nudging doors open or ringing the doorbell. His most heartwarming trait is the cuddly welcome he gives when his people return home.

Ideal Home

Maxx would thrive in an active and patient home that can provide him with the love and structure he needs. He has been good with older children and shows a playful curiosity towards other dogs on walks.

Maxx is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Maxx has a fantastic foundation thanks to his foster family. He is house-trained and crate-trained, even preferring to sleep in his crate with the door open. He knows basic commands like 'sit' and 'stop.' While he is making great progress on leash manners, he would do best with a confident walker who can continue his training.
