Meet Gissel!

This beautiful German Shepherd mix is the perfect medium-sized companion, weighing 35lbs and with an estimated birthday of 11/12/2024. Gissel is the kind of dog who makes friends wherever she goes. She loves people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and even gets along well with cats! She's leash trained and is always happy to join you for neighborhood strolls, outdoor adventures, or simply relaxing by your side after a fun day together. Before coming into rescue, Gissel devoted herself to raising her puppies after being saved from the euthanasia list. Now that her babies are ready for their own futures, it's finally her turn to be someone's baby. She is affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she's with her people. Whether you're heading out for a walk, running errands, or settling in for a cozy evening at home, Gissel will be right there with a wagging tail and lots of love to give. All she's missing is a family to call her own.

Gissel is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of people, other dogs, and even cats! She's happy to join you for walks and adventures, or just relax by your side.

Gissel is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Gissel is kennel and potty trained. She is also eligible for 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

Transporation

Gissel is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and is available to Eastern states weekly, and to Western states bi-weekly or monthly.
