Biggie

My name is Biggie, and I'm a 1.5-year-old French x English Bulldog mix who has had a bit of a rough start in life. This has made me a little shy and I take some time to trust new people. But don't let that fool you! With my favorite volunteers, I've become so cuddly and loving. I'm really starting to come out of my shell and show my true colors, and I can't wait to find a family to share my love with. I have a medium to high energy level and enjoy running, playing, and going for long walks. I'm a fast learner and know some basic commands, but I do require some patience and understanding due to my past. I'm really looking forward to a second chance at a happy life!

Ideal Home

I need a patient and loving home that understands I can be sensitive to sudden touch and do not like to be forcefully manipulated. I would do best in a home with children 14 years and older, and I cannot live with cats. I am also dog-reactive and will not do well with other dogs in the home. I can be reactive to strangers, so a home that can help me build confidence in meeting new people would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

I have no known health issues at this time.

Training & Support

I am reactive to dogs and strangers, and sensitive to sudden touch. I would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to build my confidence. I am a fast learner and know some basic commands. I have had a professional evaluation by LFK9 Dog Training Excellence, IDTP Certified and Behaviour Consultant.
