Meet Orion

Orion is looking for a patient, understanding home that will let him move at his own pace. He's a sensitive boy who takes time to warm up to new people and situations. Once he feels safe, he enjoys being near his people, but trust is something he builds slowly.

Because of this, Orion needs adopters who understand canine body language and will respect his boundaries while he gains confidence. He can be timid with strangers and does not like being approached or touched before he's comfortable. Orion prefers to initiate interactions himself. He is not looking for conflict - he's asking for space and patience.

His ideal home would be calm, predictable, and willing to continue building his confidence through positive experiences and gentle introductions. Visitors should allow Orion to come to them on his own terms instead of reaching for him immediately.

Dogs like Orion often blossom beautifully once they realize they're safe. He just needs someone willing to let him get there in his own time.
