Meet Piper, a 2-year-old Cane Corso/Boxer mix who is a total squishy-faced lovebug! Piper is a social butterfly who lives for a good romp with other dogs. She's playful, confident, and brings big "play play play!" energy to her doggy friendships. She loves to tumble, chase, zoom, and wrestle, and does best with dogs who enjoy rough-and-rowdy fun but also know how to take breaks. Piper is eager to please and very trainable, though she's currently more interested in exploring her surroundings than perfecting her leash skills.
Ideal Home
Piper would absolutely love a yard for epic zoomie sessions, but apartment living is possible if her people are active and committed to daily walks, outings, and adventures. She needs a cat-free home as she finds them too interesting. While Piper has the potential to be a wonderful family dog due to her gentle and people-loving nature, she does have a habit of giving enthusiastic "hugs" when excited. A kid test will be required to ensure everyone's success.

Training & Support
Piper is eager to please and very trainable. While she is still working on her leash skills, her energetic nature will benefit from active owners. Her tendency to give enthusiastic hugs when excited will need gentle redirection in a home with children.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time. A $87 surcharge applies for transport.
