Omar

Omar is a sweet and gentle boy who loves to snuggle! He's a bit shy at first but warms up quickly with a little patience and kindness. Omar enjoys quiet evenings, gentle walks, and would likely do best in a home where he can feel safe and secure. He's a dog with a lot of love to give to the right person!

Ideal Home

Omar would thrive in a calm and loving home. He would prefer a home without young children and would do best as the only pet or with a very calm, well-behaved dog.

Ongoing Health

Omar is up to date on all vaccinations, is spayed/neutered, and is heartworm negative. He receives monthly flea/tick prevention and heartworm preventative, and is dewormed regularly. Omar is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Omar is still learning his manners and can be a bit timid. He would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to build his confidence. Patience and a consistent routine will be key to his success.

• If you rent, a copy of your lease stating pets are allowed is required.
• If you've had a pet in the last two years, provide your previous vet reference.
• If you haven't owned a pet or it's been over two years, provide a personal reference.
• We do not do same-day adoptions.

Transportation

Omar is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment. Transportation may be available to approved adopters. Please inquire during the application process.
