Meet Hannah Chandler-McCurley. Welcome to Ivy League Golden Retrievers. Our goal is to produce versatile Golden Retrievers that are capable of excelling as hunting companions, performance dogs, active family members, and lifelong companions. We are passionate about preserving the intelligence, drive, trainability, and sound temperament that make Golden Retrievers one of the most beloved breeds in the world. Our puppies are raised in our home as part of our family. From the very beginning, we implement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI), followed by intentional socialization and exposure programs designed to build confidence, resilience, and adaptability. Puppies are introduced to a variety of sights, sounds, surfaces, environments, people, toys, problem-solving activities, and age-appropriate challenges to help prepare them for success in their future homes. We believe that socialization is much more than simply meeting people. Our puppies are encouraged to think, explore, problem solve, and develop confidence while maintaining the natural drive and instincts they were bred to possess. Whether that involves retrieving, scent work, hunting, performance sports, therapy work, or simply being an exceptional family companion, we strive to give every puppy a strong foundation. Health, temperament, structure, and trainability are all important components of our breeding program. We are committed to responsible breeding practices and thoughtful puppy placement. We take great pride in getting to know both our puppies and prospective owners so we can make the best possible matches. While we naturally enjoy seeing our puppies pursue hunting, performance, and working activities, we also value loving companion homes that are committed to providing an active and enriching lifestyle. Our commitment to our puppies does not end when they leave our home. We provide lifetime breeder support and genuinely enjoy watching our puppies grow and succeed throughout their lives.
