Meet Jasmine!
Jasmine is a wise and wonderful American Staffordshire Terrier/German Shepherd mix, estimated to be between six-and-a-half and seven-and-a-half years old. Her golden coat glows as warmly as her loyal heart. With a personality as rich as her heritage, Jasmine is a bright, affectionate girl who thrives in a world of structure, calm, and confident guidance. One of Jasmine’s most lovable traits is how deeply affectionate she becomes once she trusts you. She’s a devoted cuddlebug who adores belly rubs, sunbathing, and curling up beside you after a long walk. Her days run best on a reliable rhythm. She prefers two meals a day, regular walks, and lots of loving connection with her trusted human. Jasmine has made truly remarkable progress with a professional trainer and gets along great with other dogs, handling them beautifully in daily pack walks. The trainer describes her as “a great dog who walks calmly and confidently in a pack,” noting that she is now completely relaxed around both dogs and humans.
Ideal Home
Jasmine is looking for a confident, experienced guardian who values structure and calm leadership and can maintain the routine that has helped her thrive. She is not compatible with cats.
Ongoing Health
Jasmine is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and house-trained. She has a heart murmur that was evaluated by a veterinary cardiologist and determined not to need treatment. She’s otherwise in good health.
Training & Support
Any past aggression rooted in anxiety has been fully addressed through training. Jasmine is now calm, stable, and free of previous behavioral issues. She’s also off all anxiety medication and flourishing in a consistent, supportive routine. She knows commands like sit, down, stay, wait, come, heel, touch, and place, and she responds exceptionally well to positive reinforcement paired with firm, kind leadership.
