Meet Charlie – The Loyal Lap King! Charlie is a 4 1/2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger heart. If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be involved in everything you do, Charlie is ready to fill that role. Once Charlie decides you're his person, you'll have a best friend for life. Whether you're heading out on an adventure, tossing a ball in the backyard, or relaxing on the couch, Charlie simply wants to be by your side. In fact, if you're sitting down, he'll happily assume your lap was reserved just for him! Charlie is a smart, energetic little guy who loves to play fetch, enjoys zooming around the yard, and is eager to learn. He's food motivated, making training fun and rewarding. Like many enthusiastic eaters, Charlie appreciates a little supervision during mealtime in a multi-dog home to make sure everyone gets their fair share. Charlie would do best in a home without young children. He doesn't enjoy being restrained, tightly hugged, or handled in ways that make him uncomfortable. Nail trims can also be stressful for him, so a patient, understanding family will help him feel his best. The biggest part of Charlie's story is his bond with his sister, Lucy. They have been together since they were very young and complement each other beautifully. While they can be adopted separately if the perfect homes come along, our dream would be to find a family willing to welcome both Charlie and Lucy so they can continue life's adventures together. If you're looking for a loyal shadow, a champion cuddler, and a dog who will love you with his whole heart, Charlie may be the perfect addition to your family.
