Lemon Loaf

Lemon Loaf is a truly unique pup with the charming head and legs of a chihuahua, perfectly paired with the sturdy body of a husky/lab mix. She's a delightful low-rider who's sure to steal your heart! Lemon Loaf was rescued from a difficult situation where she and her friend Blackberry were abandoned in a condemned home. Despite her past, she's incredibly sweet and has adjusted wonderfully to her foster home, which includes 4 other dogs and 5 children. She enjoys being close to her foster mom but is also happy to entertain herself.

Ideal Home

Lemon Loaf would thrive in a home that understands her special needs and can provide her with consistent, loving care. She has shown herself to be very friendly and adaptable to living with other dogs and children of all ages.

Ongoing Health

Lemon Loaf has hypothyroidism and will require lifelong medication. The medication is not expensive, and as her hormones adjust, she is expected to lose some weight.

Training & Support

Lemon Loaf is house-trained. Given her background, a little extra patience and understanding as she settles into her forever home will go a long way.
