JERSEY (Adorable Puppy, Fun, Loving, Affectionate, Playful, Loves Everybody)

Jersey and his sister Jules are adorable puppies with cute floppy ears that you just cannot resist. They are ready to leave their rough start behind and find families of their very own. Jersey and Jules were dumped at a convenience store near a very busy highway, frightened, alone and in a very dangerous place with lots of traffic. Thankfully kind-hearted people stepped up to help and took them home and made sure they were safe.

Jersey is a handsome little boy, a 3-month-old Labrador Retriever/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with striking blue eyes and an even more striking personality. Weighing 28 pounds, he's expected to be a medium-sized dog. Jersey loves to romp, play, wrestle, and explore, with belly rubs being a particular favorite. He's learning about the joy of toys, the comfort of a home, and the fun of playing with other dogs. Most importantly, he's learning that people can be kind and that life doesn't have to be scary. Given his young age, he would likely adapt well to a home with cats. Jersey is a happy, social, curious pup who is blossoming more every day.

Ongoing Health

Jersey is microchipped, current on vaccines, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He will receive a full veterinarian examination and a Health Certificate before traveling. He will be adopted with a neuter contract, with the adopter assuming financial responsibility for the procedure by one year of age.

Training & Support

Jersey is currently working on crate training and other important puppy lessons to help him become a well-adjusted family companion.
