Meet Dottie, a certified 99-pound baked potato who is currently the sweetest, roundest resident at the shelter. Dottie is the absolute epitome of: "Why run when you can waddle, and why waddle when you can just melt into the floorboards?"

- Leash Manners: Absolute perfection. She does not pull, mostly because pulling requires forward momentum, and Dottie prefers a majestic, leisurely stroll.
Ideal Home
Dottie is a lover, not a fighter. She previously lived with another dog and recently met one of our volunteer dogs, getting along absolutely fabulously. She is peaceful, easygoing, and ready to share her kingdom with a fur-sibling.
Ongoing Health
At just shy of triple digits, Ms. Dottie is currently on a strict "less kibble, more cuddles" fitness plan. Because of her current voluptuous figure, she moves a little slower than your average 5-year-old dog. But with a healthy diet, some light steps, and shedding that extra baggage, we know this gorgeous girl is going to be feeling like a million bucks in no time! She just needs a workout partner who will hold her accountable (and hide the peanut butter).
