Maguay

Maguay is a nine-year-old, nine-pound, tri-color, long-hair Chihuahua mix. He is a sweet little boy who recently lost his beloved mommy, and his world has been shattered. This precious pup will be an amazing companion once he has the chance to calm down and feel secure. We are looking for a patient and loving foster home for him. The shelter environment was too overwhelming for him, and it was a close call to ensure his safety. He's made a small step by licking his foster mom's hand, and while we can't pick him up just yet, these are important baby steps. We are committed to providing him with the patience and love he needs and will keep everyone updated on his progress.

Ideal Home

Maguay would thrive in a quiet, patient, and loving home where he can slowly regain his confidence. Given his current sensitivity, a home without very young children would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Maguay is neutered and vaccinated. No specific health conditions are noted at this time, but he is still processing recent trauma.

Training & Support

Maguay needs a lot of patience and gentle reassurance as he adjusts. He's still learning to trust again and is not yet comfortable being picked up, but he is showing progress. Continued positive reinforcement and a calm environment will be key to his success.
