Dolce

Meet Dolce! This approximately one-year-old, 45-pound Staffie mix is pure sunshine and wiggles. She's spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and is eagerly awaiting her forever family. Dolce has a wonderful personality, balancing playful energy with a laid-back nature, making her the perfect companion.

Ideal Home

Dolce would love a home with a fenced yard to explore. She enjoys playtime with dogs her size and can adapt to being the only dog or having canine siblings. While she hasn't been extensively exposed to cats, she does notice them from a distance. Her gentle demeanor suggests she would likely do well with older, dog-savvy children.

Training & Support

Dolce walks beautifully on a leash and doesn't pull. She shows no signs of separation anxiety or potty issues and is not destructive when left alone. She can be a bit barky and jumpy when meeting new people and may initially be shy. Slow, calm introductions are recommended to help her feel comfortable. While she hasn't shown resource guarding with her current foster siblings, feeding bowls separately in a new home is always a good idea during the transition.

Dolce is currently located in Houston, Texas. Transports run every few weeks, and approved adopters will be scheduled for the next available transport.
