Meet Trooper! This handsome 2 1/2-year-old, 60-pound boy is the epitome of a devoted companion. Trooper is a quiet presence who loves to be by your side, whether you're working, relaxing, or napping. He's incredibly smart, fully house-trained, and knows commands like "stay," "come," "lay down," and "quiet." He walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys calm car rides, and is happiest when he's with his favorite person. Trooper has a gentle, tender heart and thrives on kindness and consistency. He's not a barker or a demanding pup; he simply wants to feel safe and loved by his family. He enjoys cozy naps, watching the world from the patio, peaceful drives, gentle playtime, and simply being wherever you are.

Ideal Home

Trooper will thrive in a home where he has a true companion to reduce his separation anxiety. He does well with other dogs and ignores barking dogs on walks. His protective instincts are easily redirected due to his excellent listening skills.

Trooper is neutered and vaccinated, and he's ready to go to his forever home.

Training & Support

Trooper is fully house-trained and kennel-trained. He walks well on a leash and rides calmly in the car. He responds well to kindness, encouragement, and consistency.

Transporation

Trooper is currently being fostered near Houston, TX. He can be transported to a location near you, as transport runs once a month. The adoption fee is $395, plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport. Dogs are transported in climate-controlled vans with a team of two drivers and are crated for safety during the journey. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog's progress and receive real-time updates on their location and estimated arrival time.
