Vanna

Meet Vanna! This approximately 4-year-old German Shepherd mix is a true "velcro dog" with a heart full of affection and a personality to match. She adores being close to her people, whether it's snuggling up at home or joining you on an adventure. Vanna is playful and thrives in an active environment where she can enjoy games of fetch and go for walks. She's also a fantastic car rider, making her the perfect companion for any outing. When left to her own devices at home, Vanna is trustworthy and has shown no destructive tendencies – she simply wants to be near her favorite humans.

Ideal Home

Vanna would do best as the only dog in the home. While she can be playful with very well-matched, larger dogs (around 90 lbs or more) in the absence of resources to guard, she's not a fan of smaller dogs and can sometimes be reactive on leash. She may do well with older children (12+) who can respect her space and boundaries. Vanna is reserved with strangers but friendly and warms up over time.

Ongoing Health

Vanna is spayed and vaccinated. She is still working through some challenges related to past trauma, including resource guarding of food, toys, and people. She also needs continued support with leash manners and is still polishing up her potty training, with occasional accidents. Vanna is crate trained.
