Meet Ashton! This handsome 4-year-old, 88-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever is full of love and ready for his forever home. Ashton was returned to us because his family was moving and sadly couldn't take him with them. He's adjusting to shelter life, but his happy and energetic spirit shines through as he takes everything in stride. Ashton is a big fan of fetch – he'll happily bring the ball right back for another round! He loves being active and spending quality time with his favorite people. While he's a strong boy who's still learning his own size, he's incredibly sweet and has gotten along well with other dogs here at the shelter. Get ready for a big guy with an even bigger personality!

Ongoing Health

Ashton is currently heartworm positive and will receive treatment here at the shelter before he goes home. He will need a family committed to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to stay happy and healthy for years to come.

Training & Support

Ashton is a strong boy and is still learning to gauge his size. He's eager to please and will thrive with continued positive reinforcement and guidance.
