Hi, I'm Chestnut, but my friends call me Chessie! I'm a sweet, smart, medium-sized adult female Labrador Retriever mix looking for a family to call my own. Shelter life can feel a little busy sometimes, but once I get out and spend time with my people, my personality really starts to shine! I’ve enjoyed going for walks with shelter staff and volunteers and have walked nicely on my harness. I love attention, spending time with people I trust, and just relaxing together. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share life’s quieter moments with, I may be your girl! I’ve met some dog friends at the shelter and have enjoyed a few buddies along the way. I can’t wait to meet someone who will let me blossom and become part of the family!
