Meet Teeka, a sweet and spirited 4-5 year old Chihuahua mix! Teeka is a little escape artist, so she'd be happiest in an apartment or a home where she's always walked on a leash and never left unsupervised in a yard. She thrives with canine companionship and will cry if left alone in her kennel, but is content when other dogs are nearby. Teeka has a wonderful balance of energy and couch-potato tendencies, loving both playtime and curling up for snuggles. She adores belly rubs and enjoys playing fetch, even if she doesn't always bring the toy all the way back! Teeka also loves to sleep in her crate at night and readily goes in when asked. Be prepared for a shedding superstar – a cream-colored sofa might be the perfect way to camouflage all her adorable hair! While she gets along with other small dogs, Teeka often prefers human company and is known to jump into your arms for affection.

Ideal Home

Teeka would do best in an apartment or home where she is always supervised and walked on a leash, as she is an escape artist. She also needs to be with another dog, as she becomes distressed when left alone.

Ongoing Health

Teeka is spayed and vaccinated. She does shed a lot.

Training & Support

Teeka enjoys playing fetch but doesn't always bring the toy back. She loves to sleep in her crate and will readily go in when told.
