About Gideon
Hi, my name is Gideon, but my foster parents lovingly call me Deon! I made the journey all the way from New Mexico to join the Save-A-Bull family. The trip was a bit overwhelming at first, and I was quite scared and nervous. Thankfully, my foster family, including my canine sibling, were incredibly patient and loving, helping me feel safe and comfortable. Now, I absolutely adore playing all day long with my foster family! I'm a big fan of chewing on bones and taking naps on the couch. I'm not bothered by the snow one bit, and I'm picking up potty training very quickly! My foster parents are completely smitten with my adorable quirks, calling me one of the cutest and dorkiest pups they've ever met. They love watching me trot on our walks, giggling at my silly and cute demeanor, and capturing my goofy moments in pictures. I have a lot of energy and have even enjoyed a few jogs; I love to run and feel like I could go on forever! But after all that excitement, I'm ready to crash and cuddle on the couch. My fosters consistently praise me as a well-mannered and easy puppy who doesn't chew on anything inappropriate and rarely makes a sound. I'm also doing well with crate training, especially if I've had plenty of time to run and play beforehand. I'm a curious soul with a delightfully wiggly body, and my attention can shift rapidly – especially when treats are involved! While I might need some patience as I learn, I'm very eager to spend quality time with you and am highly motivated by food and dedicated attention. I'm so ready to continue growing into the best dog I can be. I still get a little shy around new people and haven't met many children yet, but I'm confident that with patience and practice, I'll become a social butterfly! I sleep soundly in the middle of my foster parents' bed every night and don't move until I'm prompted to go outside. I adore cuddling in bed with them, rolling around, stretching, and giving little kisses. A few cats live at my foster home, and I wish they would play with me! Sometimes I get a little too excited with them, but I redirect very well. Ultimately, I'm looking for someone who wants to play with me, shower me with love and patience, and be my best friend and companion day in and day out. Having a doggy sibling would be wonderful, as they could help me learn the ropes and feel more comfortable in new environments. I know I'll be a loyal and fun addition to your family, and I can't wait to meet you!

I would love a home where I can continue to play and cuddle. A doggy sibling to show me the ropes would be a great addition. I get a little shy around new people and haven't met many children, but I know with patience and practice I will be a social butterfly!
