Precious is a truly special girl with a heart full of love to give! This adult female dog is a unique blend of affectionate, loyal, gentle, and playful, all wrapped up in a funny, quiet, and kind package. She's a brave soul, though she can be a bit fearful at times, and while she enjoys her quiet time, she also loves to give and receive kisses. Precious has a big heart and is an independent spirit.

Ideal Home

Precious would do best in a home without other dogs, or with a single, calm canine companion. Due to her reactivity, a home without children is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Precious is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccines, and on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives and dewormed.

Training & Support

Precious is a reactive dog, which means she can become overly aroused by common stimuli, sometimes leading to lunging, barking, or growling. This is often rooted in her past experiences. Her adoptive family will need to be prepared for potential outbursts if she feels overwhelmed or anxious. She also has some food aggression, so she is fed in her crate or separately to ensure her comfort. Precious is pee pad trained indoors and will signal when she needs to go outside. She is also crate trained and walks well on a leash, especially with a harness.
