Darla

Darla is a sweet and affectionate girl who is looking for her forever home! She's a little shy at first but warms up quickly to gentle humans. Once she trusts you, she'll be your shadow, showering you with love and happy tail wags. Darla enjoys leisurely strolls, soft blankets, and quiet evenings with her favorite people. She's a true gem waiting to shine in a loving environment.

Ideal Home

Darla would thrive in a calm and predictable home where she can feel secure and build confidence. A patient family who will give her time to adjust and appreciate her sweet nature would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

All dogs adopted through Wags are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative before adoption (age appropriate). All dogs are given monthly flea/tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative (age appropriate), and are dewormed regularly. Darla is microchipped.

Training & Support

Darla is a bit shy and may need some time to adjust to new surroundings and people. Gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping her feel comfortable and confident.

• If you live in a rental property, we will need a copy of your lease stating pets are allowed.
• If you have had a pet in the last two years, please provide the vet information.
• If you have never owned a pet or it has been over two years, please provide a personal reference who knows you will care for the pet.
• We do not do same-day adoptions.

Transporation

Darla is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
