Jack

Jack is a courageous and loving dog who, along with his sister Duri, endured a challenging life on the streets. He bravely protected his sister from stray dog attacks, bearing the scars of his protective nature. After being rescued, Jack has successfully completed heartworm treatment and his rehabilitation program. He is now ready to leave his past behind and find a safe and loving forever home.

Ideal Home

Jack would thrive in a calm and patient home where he can continue to heal and blossom. He is understandably cautious around other dogs due to his past experiences, so a home that can provide him with a safe space to be himself is ideal.

Ongoing Health

Jack has completed his heartworm treatment and is now on preventative care. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He will be up-to-date on heartworm, flea, and tick preventative medication before flying to his new home.

Training & Support

While Jack has overcome many challenges, his past has left him cautious around other dogs. He will benefit from a patient owner who can help him continue to build his confidence in a safe environment.

Jack is currently located in Humacao, Puerto Rico. He will be flown to Newark, NJ for pickup.
