Angie is a delightful 4-year-old, 56lb pit bull mix who specializes in professional snuggling and world-class sunbathing. She's a master of the "house hippo" life, content with quiet companionship, gentle affection, and plenty of couch time. Angie's foster affectionately calls her a "little house hippo," and it's easy to see why – she's a sturdy, comfortable dog with a sweet face that melts hearts. She's incredibly easy to live with, happily supervising work-from-home days, napping nearby, and enjoying leisurely strolls. Bedtime is a serious business for Angie, and she's an A+ snuggler, preferring to curl up right next to her person.
Ideal Home
Angie would thrive in a home with children around 6 years and older who can appreciate her calm and gentle nature. She enjoys the company of mellow, respectful dogs but would also be perfectly happy as the sole canine companion. Angie needs a home without cats, as she finds them too interesting. While she's crate trained and can stay for up to eight hours, her foster notes that she occasionally finds shoes and magazines enticing; keeping these items out of reach or kenneling her while away will help manage this habit.
Ongoing Health
Angie is a rescue dog, and while breed and age are approximate, she is a healthy girl.
Training & Support
Angie is crate trained and a wonderful houseguest. Her only noted habit is a tendency to view shoes and magazines as toys, which can be managed by keeping tempting items put away or by using her crate when unsupervised.
