Palmer
Palmer had a very rough start to life for being such a young pup. He was born into a hoarding situation to ending up on crate rest coming to rescue due to a fractured leg, you would never know it though! Palmer is thriving today and (hopefully!) Almost done with crate rest which means he is looking for a forever home! Palmer is an easily excitable boy who aims to please. He genuinely is just happy to be with you or in your lap or on you. He has met the cats and did well, typical puppy behavior that will subside with consistency/learning boundries. He is curious on dogs and would more then likely do great with proper introduction. We have chickens and ducks in the yard that free roam, he stares out of curiosity but has no genuine interest them. He has loved everyone he has met and was a HUGE favorite among the rescue ( rightfully so! ). He is shy and timid with new things and does great with reassurance and time. He is doing great on potty training ( not one accident in two weeks, however he is still a puppy and may have accidents occasionally ). He does well in the crate since he has spent so much time in one. He would more then likely be trustworthy out of the crate in the future. He traveled well in the car the few times hes been in one. He is a quiet boy, we have heard him bark less then 5 times since being here approximately a month. Palmers ears have a mind of their own and do some wonky things, he is very expressive with them&I hope that never goes away!
Palmers wants for a family;
•Patient with him in new enviroments/new activities etc.
•Will allow zoomies - because he has waited SO long for them!
•Will have time for attention/snuggles/kisses and lots and lots of play time.
•He may benefit from another well established dog in the home. Meet/greet required to ensure.
