Brownie is a delightful, almost 3-year-old spayed female who weighs 38 lbs. She's a house-trained, vaccinated sweetheart who is officially heartworm free after completing treatment and retesting. Last year, Brownie missed her chance to travel due to her heartworm diagnosis, but now she's healthy, ready, and hoping her forever family is out there. Her foster describes her as the ideal "work day" dog, content to snooze while her people are busy and not an early morning person at all – she likes to sleep in until almost 11 AM! Once she's up and at 'em, Brownie enjoys leisurely leash walks, relaxing with her people, and spending time with other dogs. She has a calm, easygoing personality and has always lived successfully with canine companions, making her a very pleasant house guest. This sweet girl has patiently waited for her second chance and would make a loving companion for someone wanting a gentle, mature dog ready to settle into family life.
