LuLu is a 7-year-old, 35-pound Pocket Bully with a heart of gold and a personality to match! She was found tied up outside a vet clinic, but thankfully, a kind neighbor intervened, and Animal Services brought her to safety. LuLu is a strong, affectionate, and playful girl who believes humans were put on this earth for cuddling. She has a hilarious enthusiasm for life and a way of making you laugh until your sides hurt.
Ideal Home
LuLu would do best in a home that doesn't have elevators or hallways, as we want to avoid confined spaces with other pets. She needs an active adopter ready to play and adventure with her. We will not place her in a home with children under 15, and adopters must have bully breed experience. She is not a good candidate for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
LuLu recently underwent surgery to spay her and resolve a pyometra infection, which was a serious health concern. Bloodwork showed great results apart from mild signs of the infection. She has mild dental tartar and slab fractures on both upper canines, but our veterinarian felt extractions were not immediately necessary. She is also missing a few teeth. Her mouth is in good condition for her age, but she will likely need a dental procedure with extractions in the coming years. LuLu also appears to have a permanently bent tail from an old injury, which doesn't seem to bother her.
Training & Support
LuLu is currently working on her leash manners and learning to manage her enthusiastic impulses. She is very food motivated and enjoys training sessions. She is fully crate trained and settles well in her crate. Continued slow and appropriate introductions would be important in any new home.

LuLu is currently located in a foster home. Transport can be discussed further with approved adopters.
