Dagger is a 6.5-month-old spayed female Retriever/Pit Bull mix weighing approximately 40 pounds. She's a confident and affectionate puppy with a distinctive dagger-shaped white marking on her neck. Rescued from a rural area with her mother and littermates, Dagger has grown up in a loving foster home and is now ready to find her forever family. She's playful and energetic, enjoying leaps and climbs, but also loves to cuddle and shower her people with affection. Dagger is friendly with strangers, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has done well with children.
Ideal Home
Dagger is a talented escape artist, so her future family should be aware of her adventurous spirit and ensure secure enclosures. Because she is still young and learning, she would do best in a home where someone is not routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time. A home with another friendly, well-mannered dog is preferred to help mentor and guide her, but homes without a resident dog can be considered if there is a proactive plan for continued socialization.

Dagger is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is generally healthy, but as an adolescent, she is still growing and developing.
Training & Support
Dagger is potty trained but is still very much an adolescent and continues to learn about the world. She benefits from ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice. Socialization with new people, places, sounds, and friendly dogs is crucial for building lifelong confidence.
