Iris

Iris is a gentle soul with a heart full of love just waiting to blossom. She’s a bit shy when meeting new people, as she spent much of her life sheltered and just learning what it means to be a dog. But once she trusts you, her silly, playful, and joyful side shines bright! Her favorite pastime is rolling around on the cement – forget the grass, the pavement is where Iris finds her pure happiness! She also loves her toys, sharing affection, and soaking up every ounce of love you’ll give, and she gives it right back tenfold. Iris is about 5 years old and weighs 40–45 lbs. Once she opens up, you’ll have the most loyal, goofy, and affectionate companion by your side.

Ideal Home

Iris is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and secure. She is good with older, respectful kids and prefers calmer dogs to wild ones. She definitely does not do well with cats.

Ongoing Health

Iris is spayed and vaccinated.
