ROXIE

Roxie is a very active and loving Senior Pitbull Mix who weighs around 50 pounds. She is estimated to be over 8 years old. Roxie first arrived at BCAS in December 2019 as a stray who was pregnant. She gave birth to 8 puppies and lovingly raised them in a foster home before becoming available for adoption. She found her forever home in February 2020 but was sadly returned to BCAS in June 2026 due to her owner needing assisted living care. Roxie lived in that loving home for over 6 years and was the only pet. She has adjusted well to the shelter routine, enjoying scheduled feedings and playtime. Roxie appears to be housebroken and offers sweet tail wags and kisses. She's now ready to spend her golden years in a quiet, loving, forever family.

Ongoing Health

Roxie received updated vaccines (Distemper combination & Rabies) and tested negative for Heartworm. She also had CBC/CHEM blood work done, all of which came back normal.
